I’m Elijah R. Williams, a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., a dedicated student leader, and most importantly, a brother deeply rooted in service, community, & academic excellence. As I present myself as a candidate for Int’l Second Vice President, I do so not just with ambition, but with purpose. My journey is grounded in the principles that define our fraternity—brotherhood, scholarship, service. I am committed to leading with integrity, serving with humility, and ensuring the voices of collegiate brothers are heard, valued, and elevated across the nation. This is more than a campaign—it is a movement toward a new standard of leadership.
Elijah is a Mechanical Engineering major with a minor in African American Studies at Arizona State University, where he holds a cumulative GPA of 3.56. Originally from Las Vegas and raised in the South, Elijah’s early fascination with creativity and problem-solving began with LEGO sets and has since evolved into a deep passion for engineering innovation and community impact.
At ASU, Elijah serves as the Treasurer of the Black African Coalition and undergraduate President of the Lambda Xi Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. In these leadership roles, he actively promotes cultural advocacy, financial stewardship, and student engagement, working to uplift Black student voices and build inclusive spaces across campus.
Elijah is also a member of the Theme Park Engineering and Design Club, where he combines his technical knowledge with creative design thinking to explore the world of immersive entertainment. These experiences reflect his commitment to both innovation and representation in engineering spaces.
He aspires to join the Mattel Theme Park Internship Program, where he hopes to bring imaginative, inclusive design solutions to life and inspire the next generation of engineers through play.
As a Spring 2024 Initiate of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., I was fortunate enough to attend the Congressional Black Caucus and I look forward to taking advantage of the various networking opportunities within the brotherhood.
